Every team aside from like 4 or 5 probably thought about it also.

I don't view bringing in Tebow as a panic alarm at all. He's not being brought in to start IMO.
The fact that they are kicking the tires and trading for big name QB's the year after their franchise QB (whom they traded up for and has helped them get to the AFC title game in his first 2 years) character and work ethic has come in to question, would be worrisome for me. Obviously his poor season last year is a major part of it too. They are just sending out very mixed signals, which is possibly what they want. But like I said, I feel like Sanchez deserved a pass for last season. If he stunk again this year, he would have had one year left on his contract (before the extention) and then they could have re-evaluated their stance on him.

Instead, they give him the extention (after flirting with Peyton Manning) and now trade for a QB who might not be a skilled as Sanchez, but has to be one of the biggest competitors in the league. Not to mention that he is loved by everyone. I just think the Jets put themseleves in a no-win situation, not to mention cloudying the relationship between Sanchez and the front office.

I think you are thinking about it waaaaaaaaaay more than the players involved.

The Jets are a joke, and this just confirms it even more. Check out the thug CB's comments. I hope Tebow mans up to that chump and his 23 kids. Jets are trash. Really though, would it be a longshot if they finish last this year?? Im pretty sure Buffalo will be better then them. We shall see...

You're always wrong. Your opinion on everything is horrible.

Look, I'm glad Tebow is coming to the Jets, but let's not get too crazy with Tebow here.

If anyone seriously wanted him, the Broncos would have been able to get more for him. No one, even the team he helped make the playoffs last year, buy him as a starting QB.

He's not going to beat Sanchez out as starter ever.
