Wayne Hunter was given a vote of confidence also. If they don't upgrade the offensive line, it won't matter who plays QB.
I'll go with clueless. Just extended Sanchez 3yr at 40.5 million. I guess that is the sorry Manning laughed at us bonus.

They are also trying to trade Wayne Hunter, good luck getting much of a return.

Especially since it differs from this http://www.huliq.com/10061/mark-sanc...nfidence-owner Does anyone think the way to get him to perform better is to have him think his job is in jeopardy and having him play in fear of making a mistake?
It worked two years ago.

If they are able to get like $10 for him in return they should take it gladly.

Looks like the whole Peyton Manning thing was posturing during negotiations. Makes perfect sense now why they didn't give him the vote of confidence and instead let the rumour out there.

At this point I don't even think they know what they are doing.

Saw today Brandon Jacobs wants to be a Jet now that he was released. Pretty funny after all of the things he had to say about Rex.

Jets need to retool that position via the draft and recently that doesnt mean a high draft choice. Soon to be 30 year old running backs are not a good investment.

They would have to be absolutely crazy to even kick the tires on Brandon Jacobs. They have enough issues on and off the field to bring someone like him in. Besides Shaun Green is a power back anyway, him and McKnight should compliment each other very well (If they go in that direction).

More importantly they should worry about suring up that offensive line.
