Default Jobless report continues to improve - GOP heads explode

God's Own Party, in the face of improving jobless numbers during a Democratic administration, double down on calling women sluts, screaming falsely about losses of religious freedomz, and blaming people with no control of the subject about gasoline prices.

Meanwhile, the rest of the United States is trying to move forward in the 21st century.

Quote:
Private-sector jobs report better than forecast, hinting at 220,000 government report Friday

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. reported this morning that the economy generated 216,000 private-sector jobs in February, well up from the revised 173,000 the firm reported for January, and above consensus expectations of 208,000. The monthly report by the government's Bureau of Labor Statistics, which surveys changes in both private- and public-sector jobs, will be released Friday.

ADP processes over 500,000 payrolls for some 430,000 separate businesses, covering more than 23 million employees nationwide. It is from those data that the jobs report is gleaned by Macroeconomic Advisers, LLC.

Every month, two days before the BLS releases its report, ADP releases its own. While the up or down trend of both reports usually meshes, analysts frequently point to the disparity in the actual count between the two. Indeed, over the past six years, that disparity has averaged 122,000 jobs for December, and it averages 75,000 across all months. So, the analysts say, ADP's report must be taken with a grain of salt. However, the ADP and BLS reports for Februarys since 2006 have exhibited the least disparity, averaging a difference of just 25,000 jobs between the two.

If that average holds, then Wednesday's ADP report is a good omen for Friday's BLS report.

Good luck with your stupidity.

From Coach's link and oh so true. Funny and sad.

http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articl...mployment-rate

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate in America.

ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It's about 8 percent.

COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?

ABBOTT: No, that's 16 percent.

COSTELLO: You just said 8 percent.

ABBOTT: 8 percent unemployed.

[Check out the U.S. News Economic Intelligence blog.]

COSTELLO: Right 8 percent out of work.

ABBOTT: No, that's 16 percent.

COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16 percent unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, that's around 8 percent...

COSTELLO: Waits a minute. Is it 8 percent or 16 percent?

ABBOTT: 8 percent are unemployed. 16 percent are out of work.

COSTELLO: If you are out of work aren't you unemployed?

ABBOTT: No, you can't count the "Out of Work" as unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.

[See a slide show of Mort Zuckerman's 5 Ways to Create More Jobs.]

COSTELLO: But they are out of work!!!

ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.

COSTELLO: What point?

ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work, can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair.

COSTELLO: To who?

ABBOTT: The unemployed.

COSTELLO: But they are all out of work.

ABBOTT:No, the unemployed are actively looking for work ... Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.

COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment roles, that would count as less unemployment?

[See the 10 best cities to find a job.]

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!

COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?

ABBOTT:

Absolutely it goes down. That's how you get to 8 percent. Otherwise it would be 16 percent. You don't want to read about 16 percent unemployment do ya?

COSTELLO: That would be frightening.

ABBOTT: Absolutely.

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means ther're two ways to bring down the unemployment number?

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

[See the 10 worst cities to find a job.]

ABBOTT:Correct.

COSTELLO:And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo.

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like an economist.

COSTELLO: I don't even know what the hell I just said!

yeah, when i saw the one title abbott and costello i had to check it out.

funny, but so sad because it's exactly what they use to show how things are just peachy.

'look, it's getting better'. but it's not.

on top of bad numbers, bad economy, bad debt/deficits, you have an admin who feels perfectly justified in killing citizens with drones.

Then isn't the GOP simply dropping the ball? Shouldn't they be pounding the table and questioning the validity of the numbers? Put Barack on the Defensive to justify the numbers.

It's amazing to watch some of you guys figure out how unemployment numbers have always been calculated, and thinking you are on to something suddenly revealing and secret

Well, no.

But to respond at your level: nanny, nanny boo-boo back at you

Question: What is going to happen to jobless numbers in 3 months?

Answer: They are going to increase, as the Republicans removed unemployment benefits in the worse-hit-jobless states from 99 weeks to only 69 weeks.

Question: Why was that done? Isn't that a terrible thing to do to the unemployed?

Answer: Who cares about the unemployed? The GOP wants jobs numbers to rise, and they'll do anything to win an election.

Coach Pants,

Thanks for the links to the "real" data.

Riot, you have to wake up and smell the stink coming from Washington DC. And The GOP are just a responible as the Liberal Dems. If you think the GOP are having their heads explode over the data released by the dailykos.com you are mistaken. They are just part and parcel of the same rotten to the core system ruining this country just for themselves and their friends in the inner circle benifit.

People like me that work with data every day can spot manipulated numbers a mile away.

The government owns the regular media ie "popular media" with show like American Idol, Dancing etc that most Americans watch and get fooled in to thinking what ever they hear for these plastic talking heads must be true or it would not be on TV.

Coach Pants and people like him and dellinger63, danzig, Rudeboyelvis, jms62 and myself know where to find the "real data" and believe me my head is exploding to see how trerrible things really are and these clowns telling lies every single minute of every single day just to get re-elected and keep doing what they have been doing for the 40 years.

BHO is making the mess Bush and that devil Cheney made while they were in charge even worse. They are all to blame.

This county's political system is Broken PERIOD. Due to this the contry is BROKE. Until we can get a viable third party candidate that owes nothing to the real power brokers of the world (Trilateral and Bilderberg Groups) we will continue down this path, unfortunately there is no clone of Abraham Lincoln the first true third party candiate, who just happened to win the Presidency and oh yeah, saved the country.

Still love racing and always will.

That makes no sense at all.

As I said: "Jobless report continues to improve - GOP heads explode"

Carry on exploding
