My father is the only trainer listed in the entire Equibase database with the last name Salvatore. His final year as a trainer was 1981: 51-8-6-14 (15.7% wins - 54.9% ITM) He had a decorated training career that started when he bribed a guy to get a trainers license in 1976. |

Ribot and Nearco were born in Italy. Vito has a great name. I've seen his name periodically in the DRF but don't know him at all though I doubt he's exporting horses to Argentina.
