Seems rather stupid on the part of the consumer, doesn't it? You hire a for-profit firm, you give them the sole power to say "yes" or "no" to paying for your health care per the contract you've signed, yet they can void the contract at any time, and they only make money when they don't pay for the health care you've hired them to give you?

Weird consumers, America. Protecting and encouraging the very industry denying them health care.

Most medical bankruptcies are people that have health insurance. Why is that?

because of ceilings on the policy which keeps premiums at manageable levels.

BTW Medicare and Medicade have no such ceilings and look at the financial successes they've become.

As I've said many times and consistently before, take out all taxes and penalties and we're all good. Of course PPACA is all about taxes and penalties or those provisions would have been removed. The cost of court cases, appeals, including to the supreme court going on all over the country would have been saved when we're in need of saving.
