The unbelievable thing to me is that, it was such a good ride up until the 1/16th pole. He was way back, saved some ground went inside and then found a seam while not having to go wide around the field. He looked like a winner at the top of the stretch, then flattened out and at the 1/16th pole it looked like he just quit. I think he did have to steady there for a sec, but then the whip went away and it looked like he even stopped driving at that point. Very very baffling and more important very very disappointing.
