Kent D. Special at Keeneland

Sure looks like he stopped riding in the stretch in the 5th and as a result got nipped for 3rd.

How many times will he do it before officials give him the kind of punishment that will make him think again before he pulls this crap?

He definitely stood up early.

That was quite a call by Kurt Becker too. He never saw the 8 until the wire, but I can only guess he was distracted by the horse breaking down.

Kent's stopping on Paddy O'Prado in the 2010 Kentucky Derby was sheer brilliance.

The unbelievable thing to me is that, it was such a good ride up until the 1/16th pole. He was way back, saved some ground went inside and then found a seam while not having to go wide around the field. He looked like a winner at the top of the stretch, then flattened out and at the 1/16th pole it looked like he just quit. I think he did have to steady there for a sec, but then the whip went away and it looked like he even stopped driving at that point. Very very baffling and more important very very disappointing.
