Ripalong Lad, a 10 year old gelding, collapsed and died after finishing 6th at Ludlow (3 miles, 19 fences at odds of 25/1).

At one point he had had a 2 year break.

Wonder why.

Prominent, ridden along and lost place before 12th, struggling when blundered 15th, hampered soon after and well adrift, collapsed fatally after race ... is all it says and I think we all deserve a little more than that.

Goodbye, good boy.

Hope you didn't have to suffer.

Cengiz, a 9 year old gelding who was running at odds of 100/1 at Worcester...

Hey Dandy, a 4 year old gelding, at the same track...

Lady of Synone, 7 year old mare, same track...

She finished last and had fractured her pelvis, poor baby.

Raspbary, a 5 year old gelding, after falling at Plumpton a couple of days ago.

This was his 12th start. He had nver hit the board.

In his last 2 starts he had been pulled up and had fallen...

Hope he didn't suffer.
