I think they shouldnt get too crazy with Prayer for Relief even if he has been winning, they should try to avoid any of the top competition until they finally have to, other than that they should keep managing him the way they have been, pick off these big money stakes races with the 2nd tier comp. He looked like he was going to get passed in the stretch but he managed to find some extra kick to finally pull away in the end. Of course he was allowed to walk on the lead, if he was any kind of a racehorse he should of won with what he was allowed to get away with. Hes not the best or the most talented, but he will win his fair share of grades stakes races with good money.

Zayat has another horse like him too the 3 yr old Joe Vann with Pletcher.

Thats the type of thinking is why we never get to see good/decent horses compete with each other. Ya, lets avoid all competition and just run in very easy spots so they can say he is multiple-graded stakes winner.

yeah well money talks in this game, even if the owners of the horses are among the richest people in the world. Plus Prayer's groom and people who are with him get some of that money too, those are the people that need it the most.

You think these multi-billionaires are in this game because they want to give money to thier grooms?? Do you really think these owners are in this game because they can make a profit off of purse money??

well they arent in the game to lose money either, but everyone does. The comment about the grooms, is that hey why would they run in a tougher spot for less or the same amount of money. When there is a half million dollar race with a bunch of cupcakes, ready for the taking. They made $300k without throwing their horse in the deep end of the water, that pretty damn good to me
