I dont know the details of the deal, other than 40 mil guaranteed. How do NFL contract work? is it once he gets paid the first 40 mil (maybe take 2 or into the 3rd year to reach that) than he can get cut with no financial penalties?

![]() NFL contracts take funny money to a whole new level. The chances that he actually gets paid $100 million for that deal are slim and none. Even the "guaranteed" part isn't always, you know, guaranteed.
