The basis contention that the government takes from the rich to redistribute to the poor is exactly the factual opposite of what has occurred over the past 30 years.

If the student wanted to do something remotely real, he'd ask the top students if they would be willing to take a few extra percentage of grade points from the lower graded students. That mirrors this country and how the tax system works.
