Olympic Charmer (107 Beyer sprinting at Santa Anita) earned the highest figure of any 2-year-old - from either sex - in the year 1998 by two full points.
She is the dam of the Ron McAnally trained first-time starter who was 2nd at 34/1 odds in a 2yo MSW race at Del Mar yesterday. The immortal Cho won that race

I suppose that's another good reason why a surprising many have gone to Woodbine. However, it's been synthetic for a couple of years now...and the Woodbine purses were huge last two years as well I think. I have to think the stronger Canadian dollar is the only real change from this year to last.
