Yes, it is a complete waste of time.

The House loons control 47 votes of the Republican caucus. Boehner can't even get to 217 within his own overwhelming majority. The House loons have already torpedoed two previous tentative agreements last week.

They are nihilists (although I think 3 have "changed sides" today, citing "being told the facts" - where have they been this past week?).

Michelle Bachmann again today said she'll never vote for a debt ceiling increase, saying it's all a lie that we'll be in trouble and not be able to pay our debts.
