The pleasure that you seem to be taking from this verdict is borderline frightening. Take a second and remember why this trial happened in the first place. An innocent, defenseless toddler was murdered. Whether you think she did it or not you should not feel like justice was served today.

Incompetent law enforcement. Outside of the traffic tax racket they suck. Bullies tend to be stupid so the verdict is not shocking.

i think it's a shame that she was found not guilty, as i think she was completely responsible for the childs death. too bad.

Becomes productive? Makes a million off a book and then spends it all and goes broke fast? Has more children? I still think she ends up with a needle in her arm.... as a hard core addict.

It is incredibly sad but this was the only option for the jury when it came down to it. Was the defense flawed (by flawed I mean complete BS and also retarded)? Of course but the reality is if she had not been an enormous liar they probably would not have even gotten the indictment. Of course she did it and got away with it but was never going to be *proven* guilty by this group of prosecutors. The defense didn't need to, and based on what they did provide, come up with any defense at all in this case. Too much time, shame.
