I was thinking of doing Toga this year, but from what I hear, lodging is impossible.

I suppose I could camp out somewhere, but that would be weird, camping then going to the track.

I can't believe DrugS didn't invite you back in 2007. He had a big place all to himself.

Really? I've never known him to do something for another person that didn't involve some sort of angle or personal gain.

A true grifter among men. At least he is consistent.

Why is it weird? there are some real nice campgrounds around there, Saratoga is a wonderful place to camp out. Plus it's perfect weather for camping (nice days, cool nights) as long as it doesnt rain!!

It's a thought.

I just don't like camping around tards.

Knowing my experiences with public campgrounds, my neighbor would be that guy from the TVG clip that was chanting Zen yat ta over and over.

Are there any decent bike trails in Saratoga?

Oh yeah and good food recommendations. I'll be sure to bring a satchel of digestive enzymes.

I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the mornings at the Parting Glass this weekend.

The AM bartender was rediculously accommodating and we spent a few great pre-race hours there every day we were up. Perhaps the best Bloody Mary's on the planet. The NYRA broadcast front and center on all the TV's, it was cool, quiet and comfortable. Even had scratches printed out for the patrons as soon as they were out.

Only breakfast item they have is Irish Breakfast, no substitutions. Lunch food avail as well. Irish Breakfast, Black Coffee, Shrimp Bloody Mary's. Repeat...

Sperry's was pretty good opening night. Was hot in back dining room, but public handicapping star power made up for it.

Yes. Was part of the big table of knuckleheads. My buddy Dave sent you the drink for one of your selections he cashed on.

Really great opening weekend.

No worries.

Was going to say something when you stopped over, but nothing screams cool at a dinner table of friends and co-workers like the comment "Hi Andy. It's me. Pmacdaddy....".
