Fair enough. How many starters can you remember, well, ever that can still bust out a 99 MPH fastball with regularity in the 9th inning? His stuff is unbelievable.

True, few if any are close to him in AL. He is approaching Halladay level good right now. He alone makes Tigers overwhelming favorites in that division I believe. Hard for that team to have long losing strings.

Another win for Kendrick today Chucky. Going on quite a few decisions in his career and well over .500.

He's actually settled into his new role (long man for the bullpen and spot starter) quite well. He still has his Kendrick moments, but he's not a bad spot starter. I think he went 7 innings today and gave up 1 run. He needs to keep palling around Halladay any chance he gets. We're lucky to have three guys who can fill the #5 starter roll on any given day (minus Blanton right now)

Always a little odd to see a team like San Fran lead the division, but yet still have a negative run differential.

Of the other 5 divisions, the smallest margin in run differential is +20 by the Texas Rangers in the AL West. San Fran leads the NL West, but is -4

Yeah. Was asked last week to play golf today, so I took a personal day off so that I could and then the c*cksuckers change their minds and are playing tomorrow. Just hanging out until 1:30 til I go get Amelia.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I find it pretty amazing that Ryan Braun was able to avoid a suspension while three guys from the Dominican (Ramirez, Colon, Cabrera) and Marlon Byrd could not.

In any event, not to go all Skip Bayless on you guys, but if folks believe that there aren't a lot more guys out there who are using PED's (Braun included), then I have some great property in Antarctica I'd like to sell you.
