That Shak horse, cause, I think it would be a fitting honor for the recently retired Shaq.

I'd like to see Animal Kingdom, Mucho Macho Man, and Shackleford finish in a trifecta (no specific order). They're the only 3 who ran in all 3 TC races and I give the horses, owners, and trainers kudos for that.

agreed at a time when trainers are bypassing races and horses in hopes of winning against subpar opposition.

(though I'd prefer the win by Animal Kingdom or Mucho Macho Man)

Master of Hounds...might be able to overcome the stupidity of his connections and be one of few still running in the stretch.

I liked that horse, too, because of the 13 lifetime starts. Hadn't thought about the all-TC trifecta, but that would have been excellent, too.

Ruler On Ice has the plus of being a gelding. In the very unlikely event that he suddenly blossoms into a force that sweeps the Travers and BCC, we won't have to worry about the connections rushing him off to stud. I like the initials, too. ROI.
