Looks like Smiling Tiger may be added to the Met field. Impressive in the Count Fleet today at OP..

His trainer said he was going after he won in CA back in February.

I thought the manner of his San Carlos effort was a bit of a fluke as he broke poorly that day, but it looks like the horse has learned to settle off the pace.

In general, I wouldn't think sprinters stretching out in the Met would be a good proposition, but he seems to be an interesting exception now.

At any rate, Mike Watchmaker seems sure to do a complete 180 with his "Watch" comment for the horse ("Doesn't seem at tops despite recent win").

I loved that comment. The fact that Mike Watchmaker is paid for his opinion is mind boggling.
