It doesn't sound like you listened to the speech yourself (or you missed the several parts where he did discuss the value of the health care act and what it does for Medicare, etc). What did you think of the substance? For example, what do you think of the Bush tax cuts expiring?

I read the transcript of the speech; don't have the time to listen for 30 minutes.

I voted for the Obama. He's been a massive disappointment.

1. The value of the health care act is negligible. Look he could have gotten anything passed last year, including several components of HC that actually would have slowed the growth of cost. But he was too much of a coward.

2. Ain't noone serious about chaqnging medicare drastically. Increasing cost sharing for beneficiaries is probably appropriate.

The Dems are gunna run on the "GOP wants to take away your Medicare" now. You heard that I'm sure.

3. Obama's time to change taxes has passed. It is now re-election time.

Only the most far-left are happy with Obama and willing to defend him like you.

The rest of us see him for what he is; a pretty smart and lucky guy who has a great political machine but who is an absolute coward as a sitting president.

Too bad.
