I try to think about the formats that they use and unfortunately many of them lack any kind of substance. Obviously the best formats (as far as I'm concerned) is when they go on site with dedicated analysts from certain tracks. People like Jill Byrne(when she was there), Les Onaka and even Dave Brower when he gave reports from the Meadowlands. People like this had strong opinions based on knowledge and information from specializing on a specific circuit. People like this brought things to the table instead of just being a tapehead pushing one of their numerous pick 4 tickets from across the country that he/she threw together. I also though Paul LoDuca was very good where ever they stuck him. There's nothing they could do about the racing, but there is plenty they could do to upgrade and enhance the broadcasts for their customers.
