One of the other threads mentioned Blind Luck was going to Oaklawn for the Grade 3 Azeri. Hollendorfer could choose to run Washington Bridge instead.

If The Factor is really going to Oaklawn, I would anticipate Sway Away showing up in the San Felipe, too.
Not sure how to take The Factor re-route. Is Baffert balking at the 9f distance of the Sunland Park Derby, or is he wanting to run The Factor back in the Santa Anita Derby (giving him a chance to prove himself a viable Derby candidate) if he's successful in the Rebel? |

I'm trying to like Premier Pegasus but that jockey/trainer combo is scary

It was kind of curious that Baffert said speed dominates at Sunland. I don't follow it regularly but from what I've seen it's an incredibly fair track. He also said he's taking Euroears to Dubai because he's fast and you have to take fast horses there. I'm not sure he was aware it's on synthetics now and being "fast" is no edge. Kinsale King won the thing for crissakes. |
