I wasn't generalizing. I was very specific. SCAMMERS. Welfare is not "Unemployment Ins".

That's what I wanted to find out from Wing, that he didn't answer - Illinois, many years back, put a time limit on someone's ability to collect welfare. Like 2 years or something. Wonder if it's still in effect.

I wonder about people like Congresswoman and Tea Party queen Michelle Bachmann, who raised 23 foster kids - that alot of monthly government checks, combined with her government farms subsidies.

I would be shocked if there wasn't more than 20 loopholes for that in Illinois.

It's amazing how intelligent some of these welfare recipients are...Morty excluded.

So you are criticizing someone who raised 23 foster children because she received gov't money to help defray the expenses?

I personally think it's awesome. I'm just jumping on the "awful government-freebie-taking handout queen" meme. What's the matter, that ship full? Queen of the Tea Party gets all her money from the government - job, kids, farm.

Good synopsis article about what happened, where we (and other countries) patrol there (it's not just our problem), etc.

Instead of building High Speed Rail Systems we should start building prisons because the coming crime wave from the Federal Govt, along with the States, going bankrupt will fill them in a hurry. You can only print so much money before you run out of paper.

Completely disagree.

The prison system needs to be cut drastically. Some states are actually paying private companies 10-25% more than what it would cost the state to run a prison.

Less prisons, More common sense on non-violent offenders.

And more capital punishment...not with mandatory appeals and 30 year delays. Sentence carried out next month.

This is the key. I thin.. know that the justice system in this country is corrupt and unjust. I am against the death penalty. I don't trust the system to get it right. I was saying it makes as much sense as High Speed Rail and Nationwide 6G coverage ( that the Govt. wants the authority to shut off at their whim, while they admonish other countries for doing the same). Are the new phones that everyone(remember wealth distribution) is going to need to take advantage of this new Govt. provided wonder to be paid for by us taxpayers? Will the computers and phones be made in America? Will it use more electricity(read Energy) to keep running and recharging all of these devices? Will it not create more Global Warming? Pay attention.
