A friend of mine had a Gordon Setter as a pet and hunting companion for 13 wonderful years. He was a great dog. He kept his hair trimmed for ease of grooming, though.

Yes, we don't show him or anything, so his hair is kept short. He's a great dog.

Yeah I would have to shave that breed but I hear they are nice. Irish Setters destroy stuff though.

He's a destroyer. Mail, our couch, every toy he ever gets, Christmas ornaments, shoes. He's destroyed it all.
