I'm aware it's Coolmore, but I'm not aware that Coolmore owns most of those mares listed.
I've liked Lucky since his early 2yo season, but still, there are better stallions at better prices. Hell, Indian Charlie to this day doesn't get overall books like that! |

I get all that.
It's just nuts to send that many quality mares, in the grand scheme of things, to that stallion. I understand why it's being done. I just think it's pretty dumb. |

Act least the horse came back as a 3 year old and ran well. No reason he cant be a good stallion. Maybe he is a complete flop? All of a sudden Mineshaft is showing some life?

Of all the horses going to stud this year I think LaL has the best chance to be a big time sire. By far.

I'd agree that the prospective first crop sires this year isn't great, and that LaL is up there among the best of them, but he lacks brilliance.
He was a solid and consistent performer in an abysmal time for racing. FuPeg at half the price is ten times better the value. Maybe more. |

What's wrong with Eskendereya? I wouldn't be surprised if he was a terriffic stallion. But who the .......... really knows anymore |
