If you do it for one horse, why not do it for all? Why not do it for every horse running that weekend? Or update it non-stop, always revising, for every runner? Because it's impossible, of course. It was the first day of a new surface, and the second lifetime start for a decent youngster. Let the number stand and quit tinkering 6 weeks later. |

![]() You can't do it for just one horse. Everything behind him also improves six points - and if he held the same variant in his sprints - everything in every sprint race that day improves six points.
Figures are always going to be more accurate if tricky days are adjusted months later after all the run-backs can be examined. |
