Hilarious? It's much more plausible than the idea that they gave it to her for her on-track accomplishments.

Let's be serious, they gave it to her for 'intangibles' and supposedly 'creating fans', so it sure as hell isn't far off to say that her dancing was part of the reason she won.

Is it possible voters regretted not giving the award to Skip Away the year before and despite his loss to Awesome Again felt he deserved a HOTY?

Is it possible voters felt Zenyatta deserved a HOTY title because of her impressive 3 years of consistency?
