That's in the Constitution to protect natural-born Americans from opinions like yours. That's the beauty of this democratic Republic experiment

It isnt race, its doing the right thing like it should of been done years ago. I guess you dont want it done the right way. You want this country to open the doors for everyone to come here. Lets get this country's national debt even higher. Typical Democrats, lets spend more money that we dont have. Hope the Dream Act isnt passed in the last fews days this year.
You really just don't bother to learn the actual details of the issues of the day, do you? And you're really not interested, as it would likely negatively affect all the crazy, illogically-connected bumper sticker slogans you live your life by.

the weirdness here is getting way too thick.

dell posts a cartoon comparing mexican immigrants to mary and joseph and nascar says that sums it up.

was it really that hard to understand or am i having another flashback? if the latter there's usually a laughing coyote tap dancing under my eyelids and i haven't seen him lately.

Yes, that was totally weird. Unless one doesn't have the gene to understand satire.

You don't think immigration is an issue that this nation is facing? I havent recently heard much on the news about Haitians, Canadians, and other nationalities illegally entering this country. The majority has been the Mexicans. Go back and live in your own fantasy land. As Tattoo said "Boss the plane" remember that great show?

That law should be changed. If your parents are illegally here you shouldn't be classified as an American citizen.

Oh, do you want to talk about issues now? Yes, I think immigration is an issue this nation is facing.

Your turn.

It's apparently not as sexy as hating illegal Mexicans. Non-Mexicans are about 40-45% of illegals.

I'm glad you finally realize we have a Constitution. If you understood it you would know Obamacare is unconstitutional in its' present state. Net neutrality is unconstitutional, as are a whole lot of laws passed by this administration and preceding ones. In reply to being called a racist for not wanting the DREAM Act to pass. Mexicans aren't the only ones crossing our southern border. There are lots of people from the mid-east also crossing. ICE deported 40,000 illegals? Out of how many hundreds of thousands who attempt it? I don't blame Mexicans for wanting to escape the drug violence in their home country.

I wish you would realize we have one.

I've always respected the Constitution, especially in the face of those that would seem to prefer Americans of a certain age or religion or heritage be placed in interment camps. Because that worked so well "constitutionally" in 1942.

Or those that think millions of people are all alike and evil because they share a religion.

Nonsense. There's nothing unconstitutional about the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. If someone doesn't purchase insurance to comply with the mandate portion (only a portion of the Act), there is NO PENALTY. That is specificially written into the Act. Duh

Constitutionality of the PPACA has been deemed an issue not addressable by 11 federal judges who said no reason for them to hear it (can't remember exact number, 11 or 13 or 14), has been deemed constitutional by two, and one small provision of the entire bill - not the entire bill - was deemed unconstitutional by one judge who was appointed by Bush and whose career was paid for by insurance companies.

It needs to go to the Supreme Court and be done with it, but it doesn't appear there's enough of a question of Constitutionality to get it there.

There's alot of ginned-up outrage over stuff not really in the Act. Number one Politifact Lie of 2010 was that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act was a "government takeover of health care". LOL - it's not at all!

So you think that our internet access should be controlled by a few corporations? Nope, that doesn't sound too "constitutional" to me. But that one will indeed make it to the Supremes.

There are about (top estimate) half a million illegal aliens of all stripes that enter the US a year. I'm against illegal immigration, and think illegal immigrants should be deported. One would have a hard time convincing me to embrace any amnesty for adults who came here illegally as adults, but it could possibly be done. I'm generally not in favor.

The children of illegals? I have no problem at all with the DREAM act. These children have been here for at least five years as minors, they made no illegal choices on their own (if they have they are not eligible for DREAM), they've now graduated high school, have reached the age of consent and are willing to immediately go into our military and serve our country (their country, too, they've been living here and being part of it), or go to college.

Which is more than alot of other Americans do. That helps makes good citizens. There is no reason not to allow them, after they do that, to obtain a conditional legal residency that would then allow them to continue on to work towards citizenship.

Poor clueless Hooves. I was speaking for myself, and no, the DREAM act has nothing at all to do with children under five years of age, neither did any thing I posted.

Just curious out of the 11 judges how many come from Democratic states?

As for a child of an illegal why should that child get rewarded with US citizenship when thier parents was illegally in the US in the first place. Do I blame some of them for trying to escape the drug wars. Absolutely not. Is it that child's fault that
their parent's are illegally here? Not that child's fault. Why should that child be rewarded when the parents are here illegally.
