You want to blame someone for 9-11, I suggest you blame the fools that ignored the warnings.

This is rather an example of how dense you are. It's a new tax (surcharges) on foreign companies, invented to pay for this - not current - and it's more than is needed, so the extra will help pay off the debt, too.

And btw, this bill will pass the obstructive Senate. Public opinion has outed the GOP, and the votes are pouring in.
Last line proves you're delirious! The vote was in NOVEMBER, and the voters ran your asses out of Dodge!!

Starting next year. Read your Constitution. And surely you realize the voters didn't change what party holds the majority in the Senate?

In the lame duck you've heard the squeek of tax cuts (extension of tax cuts) stimulus package, huge business deductibles, food safety bill, repeal of DADT. Ratification of the START Treaty will happen tomorrow, and the 9-11 responders will possibly pass Christmas Eve or Thursday.

Deal has been struck to pass this bill, possible tomorrow!

Edit: it just passed. The two-faced obstructionist GOP Senators voting no so far all flip-flopped so they look good in future political ads, and it passed the Senate unanimously

Quote:
WASHINGTON -- After a filibuster and threats of obstruction by Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), the Senate unanimously passed a bill on Wednesday that would provide health care for first responders to the 9/11 terrorist attack. Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer reached a deal with Republican senators to support the bill earlier in the afternoon.
