In the lame duck you've heard the squeek of tax cuts (extension of tax cuts) stimulus package, huge business deductibles, food safety bill, repeal of DADT. Ratification of the START Treaty will happen tomorrow, and the 9-11 responders will possibly pass Christmas Eve or Thursday.

Edit: it just passed. The two-faced obstructionist GOP Senators voting no so far all flip-flopped so they look good in future political ads, and it passed the Senate unanimously

Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer reached a deal with Republican senators to support the bill earlier in the afternoon.
