Yep - but I think all of the fractures came later on. He started at 2 and went several years without missing much time. He was a pretty good horse who just happened to run a lot more 2nd's than wins.

One was after that Big Cap at age 4. He almost made it to the Derby, having won the race that became the Sham, and ended up winning the Swaps and running 3rd at 3 in the Pacific Classic.

I think one start after that 4th to Dare And Go in the '96 Pacific Classic, he wired stablemate Alphabet Soup (who later won the BC Classic) in the Del Mar BC. The latter was coming off that awesome victory over Lit De Justice at 7f.
