colic or if they gave her milk shake or some other type of fluids to cause some type of imbalanece in her system

You could see that sthe was splinting her abdomen. there was a sharp line of demarcation all along her ventral body.

I have worked the gate asa vet for 25 years and all the jock had to say is look at me.. I saw it from far away

I saw that too. Poor thing. Something didn't agree with her.

Horsewoman sitting behind me at track said she looked colicky going into the gate as she wasn't really extending while walking...vet missed it bad.

If anyone gets an update on LAT please let us know. After running around the track like that while she clearly felt like hell, it would be nice to know that she'll be ok.

I would love to know how much money was bet on her in all of the pools combined. Those thieves took the public's money like a stimulus bill.

Todd Pletcher said in the ESPN post-interview that he thought it was a reaction to the lasix.

Yup, definitely an echo or invisible ink.

The tone of the ESPN coverage just prior to the race was that they could not believe that she was not scratched or at least looked over by the gate Vet just prior to the race. Johnny V said clearly, when interviewed during the warmups, that she was not "acting right".

got that right....with her out the next obvious horse is the winner...it was a definite bad deal for bettors. i'm glad they care so much about the horse and the betting public...of course i used her ...how could you possibly bet the 3 yo at those odds....blind luck....9-5...lol....lol. we done got screwed by the vets and stewards seeing that unrivalled belle never came within 2 lengths of life at ten (all year)...thanks churchill downs...everyone out there knew there was a problem except the officials. thats just dandy on the biggest day.....lol

Good thoughts for Life At Ten. It sure would be a permanent black eye on horse racing if anything happened to her. Even if she comes out of this 100% A OK, it's still going to be hard to explain why they let her run. Poor baby.
