A bad morning line helps in horizontal wagers if the horses that you like are considerably higher on the M/L than what their actual odds will be for betting on the race.

No, it doesn't. People are going to bet how they're going to bet, horizontal or otherwise. Morning line makes very little difference, if any. It's an estimate that goes out the window once the pools open, especially giant pools like these.

Ya but there are a lot of rookies betting these races and some bet based on morning lines

12-1 on Provisio and 6-1 on Lookin at Lucky would be great if I can get those odds on Saturday.
