So because I'm aware of gray areas in certain situations I'm apologizing for the behavior? Sure thing.

They are two s.hitheads trying to one up each other. Sort of like what we're doing but on a much more primitive level.

I assure you there are many people like Tim in Chicago who have little patience with provokers. It's not exclusive to Kentucky.

Just like there are people out there who realize that if you put on a wig and act like a provoking douchenozzle enough times that the law of averages could lead to said provoker getting roughed up by another provoking douchenozzle with a different viewpoint.

Didn't realize you started caring about honest paraphrasing in the last hour. Neat how that works.

Though I am starting to get the hang of this thing you're doing -- it seems as if people believe the way you do, they'll view it as a free pass to be jerks towards other people in their day to day routine and never fear any consequences or have to take responsibility. Perhaps Tim also feels the same way.

If you go through life assuming all people are bad, all people are potentially violent, and all people have no goodwill to offer and no ability to restrain themselves from hurting other people -- then what's the point in even trying to act like a decent human being to other people, right? I mean, they're all pitiful, bad, nasty, violent creatures anyway, so there's no point in being any different because they're going to do what they do anyway, so just even bothering to have a bare minimum of basic decency towards each other is a totally futile endeavor.

That's certainly not the world I live in. Then again, I'm not a violent pent-up anger ball waiting to explode and hurt other people like Tim and his apologists, but thanks for opening my eyes that the rest of the world views it this way and would punch me in the face for daring to believe otherwise. Strange that I don't really ever experience this as a matter of course in my day to day life considering how sure you are that it's just how the world works dictated by the human condition and having just given up on bothering to be any better than it.

I know the Moveon.org paid victim feels that way.

I said most people are lousy. I didn't go into detail about how many of those lousy people would be violent but common sense would tell you it wouldn't be all of them.

So because most people are lousy it's ok to be as well? That's novel.

How about just having some basic awareness that putting on a wig, making a sign with glitter and markers, traveling to another state and trying to harass a politician for selfish reasons could lead to a situation that might get completely out of hand.

Where was her decency?

Maybe the people you talk down to in real life are intimidated by your greatness after viewing your myspace music page.

Have a good one, bia

Awwwww, that's cute. Typical to not be able to keep it on topic when you're just acting like an a.hole and making excuses for a man who got violent towards a woman. Noble, too. Make it personal, stop talking about the actual point, and take a dig at the person from their past and not what they're saying. At least find something current, would you?

I always appreciate your good-faith attitude that you have when talking to other people. It's rather refreshing. Have a good night. Wait, was saying have a good night too close to Polyanna for you and the rest of the dangerous, violent society? Should I double lock my doors so nobody blasts in and punches me in the face for it?

Jeez, you've got me on edge now thinking that my general good faith in people is going to get me punched just for being nice!

After reading the moveon womans' account of the events, it looks like both parties are at fault.

In no way could it seem like it is premeditated (the pushing her to the ground thing). You can tell by the description exactly what both sides intention were.

The move on bitc.h had one purpose.. and it wasnt innocent. Her goal was to be as close to Paul as possible and get a picture of him with her stupid sign in the background so she could use it as propaganda.

Once the dumb-ass Paul supporters saw her, they knew exactly what her intent was. They did not agree with her purpose and wanted to stop it. So they did a non-violent act and stood infront of her when Paul drove up so she couldnt get her dumb sign in the picture.

She, being a crazy bitc.h like it seems she is (only crazy bitc.hes travel around the country with stupid signs), she decides to highten the situation and run around the people who stood in front of her to block the sign.. and run in the direction of Paul. If she would have just stayed where she was, and didnt run around towards Rand Paul, I would bet a lot of $ she would have not been pushed to the ground.

So then the dumbass Paul supporters take off after the crazy bitc.h & the rest is history. No man ever has the right push a woman to the ground, & there is no doubt that those few Paul supporters were dumbasses. But the moveon bitc.h is certainly no way innocent. She provoked the incident and ususally when people take off running towards a politician they end up on the ground. Both parties involved are epic failures.

If you ever attend a public gay rights rally, and you hold up a sign touting gay rights while standing next to a crowd of ignorant rednecks, and they grab you, throw you to the ground and stomp on you - well, I hope you remember you are at fault for that.

Update to this story - there is now another video showing this lady shoving her sign into Rand's car window right before she was taken down...
