I voted for the Arc, uneven ground soft or hard going a mile and a half has to be the toughest race in the world.

Interesting question...

Do people breed, train, race and schedule their entire campaigns around getting to one race? The Kentucky Derby is such a unique creature. Six or so months of horse racing is completely geared towards that race alone. I don't feel as though the others carry that same punch, although each is big by itself, they're not quite as big as the Ky. Derby.

Isn't the Epsom Derby regarded in similar fashion in the UK?

Probably wouldn't be fair to vote three times cuz I'd take the Kentucky Derby every time. IMO a whole lot more racing fans in Europe and Asia know and follow our Derby than the other way around.

That's because there are more horse racing fans period in those continents.
