Beat the Pats next week and the swagger will be back. If you lose though, it will be the sky is falling. Even then there will still be 14 games left. Have a little faith..............even though they looked like them (at times), I really believe that these aren't the same old Jets.

I don't know about key game, but the positive is that the offensive played like absolute crap and they still had a chance to win the game on the last drive. Plus if they meet them again in the playoffs, they will have Santonio Holmes on the field (barring injury). I also really believe that they will get the running game going. I think that you will eventually see Tomlinson as the starter, but they will be able to run the ball which should open up the passing game for them as well. The thing that would bother me the most if I was a Jets fan, is the lack of adjustments that the coaching staff seemed to make in the game. It really didn't seem that they changed the gameplan at all, when a little tinkering might have been enough to win that game last night. It was a tough opening night matchup for them. They basically played a clone of themselves, but with a much better passing attack. You just have to hope that your own passing game eventually matures and is able to open up and put some points on the board consistently. If they could ever get that going, they would become a real threat.

![]() Pretty funny to me. The Jets play awful, get beat by 1 point to a team many are saying is one of the best teams in the NFL and according to some they should pack it in the rest of the year.
Yet the defending AFC champs get handled pretty easily by the Texans and there are few words said about it. The Colts gave up 257 yards rushing. They have a ton of issues. The Ravens didn't exactly look great last night. The Pats looked okay but they have their issues on defense. The Jets are going to need to improve on offense. Everyone knew that going in. But they were playing the Ravens defense last night. Ed Reed or not, the ravens are still one of the better defensive teams in the league. It's a long season. |
