I was talking about Ole miss scoring 48, and still losing to Jacksonville whatever. He wasn't terrible in the rose Bowl. The rest of the team was acting tight (including the coach.)

They weren't inept, but they made some mistakes that really cost them. A facemask penalty let you keep a drive going. Also, Blount's fumble at your 17 was a critical mistake. I don't think the coaching staff did enough work to get ready for the game. It was a big bowl game for that university. I think they were pretty tight. The "Beat L.A." chant from other people on the West Coast doesn't come from nowhere. They have major envy. Going to the Rose Bowl was huge for them, and they were a little out of synch on that stage. Not like they're used to being in front of a National Audience. You found an opponent that was tighter than yourselves. Lucky you.

Well, it didn't help that you got a facemask call to keep an Ohio State drive alive. Wasn't Masoli that facemasked. Wasn't Masoli that fumbled that hand-off at the Ohio State 17. If they'd of scored there, it would have been Oregon 24 OS 17. Would of been a different story.
