![]() I just think that Sanchez will be much better with a season under his belt. He really could have used Brunell last year to lean on. But at least he's a Vet that will be able to hold his hand if he should hit stormy waters again this year. Also I think Santonio Holmes is a huge upgrade at the position and if they could get Edwards to hold on to the ball a few times they could really have a very dangerous air attack. Not sure about the running game, Greene showed late that he could be a good back. But who knows how he will take the punishment of an entire season. I do think Tomlinson does have something left in the tank, but all that being said Thomas Jones will be missed. The guy was a warrior and a respected clubhouse guy.
Defensively I would think that they are going to be strong again, that is as long as they stay healthy. You would think that Revis will eventually show up. Not sure when, but most likely by the opener. I do think Nick Folk could lose them a game or two this year. Jay Feeley was excellent for them last season and Folk is definitely a downtick, so it wouldn't suprise me if someone else was kicking for them late in the season. By no means do I think they are the 72 Dolphins, but I could see them being 11-5 during the regular season. They really benefit by having the Vikings and Packers having to come to the Swamp. Once again alot of their success hinges on Sanchez moving forward.

![]() Besides the choking on Field Goals.
Anyone remember who the DB was that missed the tackle that led Shonne Greene to the clinching TD in the SD game? Antonio Cromartie

Also, analyzing an NFL schedule before the season starts is one of the dumbest, most useless things one can do. |

Look at the Bears for example, they have zero shot to be any good this year and some has to do with their scheduling. For starters..... Week 2: At Dallas Week 3: Green Bay Week 4: At Giants Then their last 8 games are Week 10: Minnesota Week 11: @ Miami Week 12: Philly Week 13: @ Detroit Week 14: New England Week 15: @ Minnesota Week 16: Jets Week 17: @ Green Bay Where is the cupcake game there? Its brutal. Next year, they will be a very good team after finishing 6-10 this year, and getting a cupcake schedule because of 'last years' finish. |

![]() 1: Baltimore = W
2: New England = W 3: @ Miami = W 4: @ Buffalo = W 5: Minnesota = Dependent on Favre but likely W 6: @ Denver = L 7: Bye 8: Green bay = W 9: @ Detroit = W 10: @ Cleveland = W 11: Houston = L 12: Cincy = W 13: @ New England = W 14: Miami = L 15: @ Pittsburgh = L 16: @ Bears = W 17: Buffalo = W And that is being generous to some teams like Denver because I am figuring the Jets will be thinking about relaxing next week. 12-4 is pretty simple with that schedule Last edited by Scav : 08-12-2010 at 12:51 PM. |
