Appreciate the nice sentiment regarding the 4-7p slot. ATR was there a long time, and I understand that the 9a-12p is going to take some getting used to... I hope listeners will take afvantage of the internet stream, which starts immediately after the show wraps live, and loops continuously. The podcast service and archive are options as well.

SARATOGA PLAN

For the Saratoga season, KC and I have developed a plan that we hope will satisfy listeners that particularly enjoy the summer shows.. Saratoga ATR will be live on the Internet AFTERNOONS (3p-6p) from the Barbecue on racing weekdays (Mon-Wed-Thurs-Fri).

The show will offer live morning shows on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and utilize the previously recorded afternoon broadcasts Mondays, Thursday and Fridays 9a-12p.

Hope this works for everyone... Let me know thoughts... Am trying hard to deliver the best show possible under the circumstances, and want to be able to capture the Saratoga excitement that listeners have come to enjoy.

I can't listen to the stream at work, unfortunately. But since I get out a little after 3, I might be able to listen to it in the car via my Android phone if the stream is compliant with that browser, or if I can get an app to do it. I'll just patch it in to my AUX feed to the radio.

the afternoon hours was great-Steve has done a great job with the show-now I listen to rerun of the stern show on my drive home-like all shows that are good -the suits change the schedules-if xm loses stern ,there is no reason to have xm-steve you have the best horseracing show on any media-keep up the good work

I'm sorry, but for me and (I assume) many others, it's not a matter of getting used to. It's a matter of not being able to listen to the morning show.

Steve - Thanks for the extra effort, especially with Saratoga. I know you are busy and the next 7 weeks will be a blur of 18 hour days so I want to say thanks in advance.

The 9 - 12 is an adjustment. I work at home and so I can listen to you in the mornings, but my heart is in the afternoon hours. I am a creature of habit and NPR, BBC in the morning with ATR in the afternoon. Trying to switch that around but it is a transition.

Looking forward to heading up to Saratoga in the near future.

Steve - LOVED the daily dose for today! 6 total hours. Thank you. It must have been an awful lot of work. I really enjoy the live afternoon Saratoga broadcasts. There is so much energy that comes through. Thanks again and see you on Sunday
