The righties on here can't stand Obama. There's no way to change the prism of intense dislike and the screeching megaphone of doom through which you far right guys look at all things Obama. You are not objective in the least

But Obama isn't universally hated in the real world, he has accomplished a significant amount his first year, the negative "talk" doesn't match the measured reality. The far left progessives have far more to dislike so far than the right wing!

Things change quickly in politics, the first thing is the fall elections. Then there is two more years. To write him off now is beyond absurd, especially as the results of everything done this year will start to be felt then.

I would argue that predicting him in a landslide is whatever 'beyond' being beyond absurd is.

Lunacy?

I clearly said "landslide at this point", in the context that the GOP has nobody to run against Obama at this point that could win. The GOP also has to make a case for itself as something more than the party of right wing whack jobs (Glenn, Rush, Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Sharron Angle - they all make Rand Paul look mainstream!)

Lots to happen before 2012

That's right, the Libertarians, birthers, and ultra-right-conservatives on this board are obviously terribly objective about Obama

Go read the list 'Zig posted on politifact. But I doubt you are interested. Nothing will convince some that anything he's accomplished is worthwhile.

Exactly the reason to write him off.
