I'm looking at Nacho Friend in this race. We was 5 lengths behind a 1:14 pace the last time. Jockey switch and a some quicker fractions puts him in the top 2 mix.

Nice slow race in which the pace setters completely caved in...

He ran a nice race actually. Pace killed him and he was only a few lengths back at the finish

Hope you crushed it, I don't think you'll see 2-1 on him again this year.

I thought it was bizarre to see Jackson Bend and Schoolyard Dreams both fold like a cheap tent after those fractions.

But people are saying the Monmouth track is different this year. So maybe it wasn't as slow as it appears?

I ended up not having the money to drop what I wanted to because of a bad night in AC last night and I had a friend who was willing to put up A LOT of money for the win bet, but the potential backlash if I was wrong was too much to stomach, so I had to get creative. I ended up putting everything I had left in my account on the 6-5 exacta. (Redboard alert). . .

I am prepared to accept anything anyone wants to say. The way JB folded doesn't bold well for his future. PPs would not have predicted that, let alone the second Afleet getting second.

You don't need PP's to know not to bet a slow Derby/Preakness horse at 9-to-10.

I never could figure out the love for JB here.

His success early came from beating crap.
