I think Afleet Express is going to win this race by a very, very large margin. Afleet Again and Nacho Friend are who I'll use for 2nd.

Agreed - I wonder if they go crazy on Jackson Bend and at least keep AA's price somewhat reasonable. I would consider a VERY large win bet at 3/2+ and I very rarely bet horses below 8-1.

Precisely, that's why a fresh face should be infinitely more appealing than an underlaid favorite who hasn't beaten open company this year.

This race screams "pass""
On the other hand, the 11th is an excellent race, with Rose Catherine(5-2), plus an AE entry of Daily candy |

Rose Catherine appears to lay over that group.

I doubt it. I think AA is 4-5, 1-1 at post time. People cant be this stupid to bet JB hard against him.

Hope you crushed it, I don't think you'll see 2-1 on him again this year.

I thought it was bizarre to see Jackson Bend and Schoolyard Dreams both fold like a cheap tent after those fractions.
But people are saying the Monmouth track is different this year. So maybe it wasn't as slow as it appears? |

I ended up not having the money to drop what I wanted to because of a bad night in AC last night and I had a friend who was willing to put up A LOT of money for the win bet, but the potential backlash if I was wrong was too much to stomach, so I had to get creative. I ended up putting everything I had left in my account on the 6-5 exacta. (Redboard alert). . .

Wasn't Afleet express Beyer from his last win first released as like a 115?

I know it's only 6 horses, but this is a nice little field for a G3 this close to the end of the TC.

It's clearly benefitting from NYRA's decision not to run the race that was formerly called the Dwyer in early July. This is really now the lone East Coast race to get horses ready for the Haskell/Jim Dandy.
