Prove Out did beat Riva Ridge in the Gold Cup in Riva's last race.
The funny thing is that if we had a hottub time machine and we could matchup Prove Out and Zenyatta on the track, PO would wipe up the track with her. And yet you wont find him on anyones top 50 lists.

Would you take the 17 in a row or the 16 for 21?

It's amazing how well Tentam ran in that Man O War....and Secretariat still drowned him.

I'd rather use the hot tub time machine and see if Smooth Operator rode the short bus with tinted windows.

Funny that Sec picked up 5 lbs off the loss in the Whitney which was only a grade 2 back then. I know they had the mandatory 126 highweight back then but I'm sure there has to be a reason for this.

You may not need the machine to find this out.

Thanksgiving, silly. Everything calms down when we stuff face with all that triptophan. I just hope nobody gets so full they loosen their belt or open their zipper. That opens up a whole new can of--nevermind.

oh, and it wasn't my 'handicapping method'. i know some pointed out that rachel ran her 9 faster than blame, so it seemed obvious that this time would come up as well, zens vs rail trip. may be a bit simplistic, but it's also a measurable fact.

oh, and by the way:

HOL-Californian S (G2): Rail Trip 108 (R. Ellis/R. Bejarano)

HOL_Vanity H (G1): Zenyatta 103 (J. Shirreffs/M. Smith)

but i'm sure that's being simplistic as well....
