I have no idea what happened this day, previous years I do not recall this ever happening, I don't know who is at fault and I do not know from a logistics television point of view was it even possible. But to show Randy Moss going over the early oddsboard of the Belmont or Dale Romans and G Fox's relationship was a total waste IMO. Maybe NYRA could have strong armed them into showing the race for their fans from a PR point of view, I was not impressed having bet the race and having to wait 10 mins to see what happened.

As for NYRA racing on Sunday, I have been to Belmont on the Sunday after the Belmont in previous years. There usually is noone there. The 4 day leadup to the Wed carryover will help NYRA handle far more money on the wager than if they had it on Sunday. Is this even debatable? And I still can't believe that Romans and Greg Fox have a relationship. I didnt even know they were gay |

sure it is , you can't tell me that there won't be more people at belmont on a nice sunday afternoon than on a nice wednesday afternoon. i have been out there on wednesday afternoon and you can talk to the jockeys as no one is there the syndicate $$$ , pros $$$ will be in sunday or wednesday , you would get more casual race fans $$$ into that pool if you were open for business on sunday chuck , the pros $$$ alwayss gets in , the guys that has to work during the week may be less inclined to play on a wednesday , but they would play on a sunday chuck is travers day not as big a day for nyra as belmont day ??? they run up at the spa on sunday , they can run chuck down here too |

Not to mention all the work that had to been done around the faculity after their biggest day of the year. Just wait till Wednesday, the carryover will still be their and so will the people who intend to bet it.
