they changed tactics with her today (I think in an effort to avoid the 2 pacemakers!)- and it didnt work at all, she doesnt have a turn of foot and didnt pick up when asked for an effort.

I was actually watching the race beside Simon Crisford of Godolphin fame at The Curragh - i told him if they were looking for a horse to buy, Goldi would do OK for them

so i read the article and it said this was her first start of the year. do the euros usually not start the year with "warm-up" races? it seems that she didn't have a problem going into a big race without one. is there a reason why american horses start off with one?
