Unless people are inside his brain and understand his thinking and his thought processs when it comes to this behavior, they really have no clue as to what they are discussing. It just makes some people feel better or morally superior to just flippantly judge others based on addictive behavior, all the while dismissing them as not really being an addict.

I got news for you Rand, addicts do not think like non-addicts.

I tip my hat to you bro, well said. And I owe you an apology, I think, for my words on the other thread.

Take the booze out of my system and as you know I'm still this messed up thinking alky. One day at a time.

Last thing this alcoholic and addict needs is sympathy, please spare me.

That's fantastic news. I thought the Bucs would wind up paying him to leave.

Wonder if the Steelers had an opportunity to watch how pathetically inept this guy was last year...

An inaccurate, immobile plug standing behind a weaking O-line, no receivers and a below average running game... Last year's tape ought to serve notice as to what to expect in Pittsburgh this year.

As a Steelers fan it is very disappointing to see that Roethlisberger feels he can act the way he did. Hell if he wants to party why didnt he do it in the comforts of his house. He should realize he is a target and will be scrutinized due to the fact that he is in the NFL and makes a nice salary. Maybe the suspension will not only serve as a wake up call for Roethlisberger but every other NFL player. Congrats to Goodall for disciplining Roethlisberger. Goodall means business.

There's something way wrong with this boy - mentally, physically or both. He not only needs a morals bodyguard. He need a good physical and neurological workup. It's almost like he's got a death wish or somethin'. Damn shame for such a talent, but he needs much, much more than a 4 - 6 game suspension. And, y'all know how much I LOVE the Steelers. But, this guy's actions just don't cut it - even with all that talent.
