why do you have to use the R word so much? Pin head works for jockeys. The other word is insulting to the millions with disabilities.

To me the bigger question is after the trouble did GG drain the tank and eliminate any chance LAL has may1st? It looked to me that Baffert and GG both felt they had much the best horse. Over confidance Doomed GG and the Hard ride after the trouble could cause problems later on.

And "pinheads" is insulting to the millions with smaller than average heads.

(I think it more has to do with the size of the brain, not the head)

Einstein's brain was smaller than normal. (Useless but true trivia fact of the day)

(Einstein the person, not the horse. I have no idea how large Einstein the horse's brain is in relation to other horses)

didnt he use like 10% of his brain though, where us normal people use like 4% and jockeys use like 0.01% ???

It's the only way that what jockeys do makes sense to me. This way, I will always be able to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Jocks have a problem going into the turn without coming in. In most cases this is just a result of careless riding, not the ability to properly handle a horse. There are multiple cases daily where a horse gets pinched on the turn because a horse (or horses) to its outside came in while taking the turn and took its path. This is just about the most dangerous situation you can have in racing. Anytime the stewards act in these cases is a positive day for racing. Last thing we need is for jocks to be afraid to save ground. I'm not that big on jocks keeping in their lane in the stretch but they absolutely need to do so while on the turn. Failure to do so, and thus putting someone in danger, should be punished.

This can be spun any way one wants but the apparent lack of understanding in this case by racing fans pretty much speaks to the overall lack of understanding of the game. Can't improve things when the fans are clueless.

Thanks DELL YOUNT. Nice photos to relive the day by.

You caught me at the paddock fence. I'm the guy in the white hat and white jacket on the left of the horses on the fence near where the first flower row ends. Yep, it's sort of like "Where's Waldo."
