The conversation was about how close these two seem to finish. What does distance limitations and stretchout loving have to do with the races already run? Both horses ran terrific. Noble's Promise ran great yet again and got nodded at the wire. He'll win his share. McPeek is very pleased. Looking at Lucky was terrific dealing with all the challenges expected or unexpected, and Baffert is thrilled. No analysis should yield a negative opinion of one of them after that race.
