This ordeal is hilarious because it all comes down to greed for both parties.

Vic added Garcia, Rosario gets midget rage and looks for a better opportunity.

If you're going to add a second jockey why in the world would it be Martin Garcia? The guy is never going to be an elite rider. Why risk losing your true breadwinner for that slapdick?

Short-sighted buffoonery is why.

Rosario can likely pick the mount back up on Cedros now.

Wow. A friend told me the other day how much he trusted me above anyone else. While accepting the compliment I acknowledged and pointed out the slim pickings involved. Life is cruel. As another friend liked to say when things were REALLY bad, "Keep your chin up."

Well in short hind-sight MG won a 250k race (Southwest) and the 750K Big Cap in the last 2 weeks.

I loved his ride in the Big Cap, he put that horse in the best possible spot from way out there. Softest possible trip because of the ride, I like Garcia.

Yes and here's more stats..

He's 4th in money earnings.

Now..

He's winning at a horrible 13% and in the money 36%.

The big cap win was a mirage. This guy has been touted as being one of the next great ones since 2006. He's not. To risk losing Rosario for him is stupid.

My point stands.

I couldn't agree more about him being bad. I remember arguing about him with someone else who thought he was the good.

Tyler Kaplan could ride some of these steam jobs that Baffert is putting him on. He is obviously working his ass off in the mornings for Baffert so he is getting rewarded, which is a good thing, but there is about 7 other riders I would trust over him out there.....

Woman are the f'n rake man

Wayne Catalano and the Calabrese racing team has extended an hand out to Michael for the Arlington Park meet.

This is so great. At least I know I will only be haunted for the first couple weeks until he gets benched and ET Baird is called back in.
