I don't know if this has been touched on but allowing the tax cuts to expire is not the same as raising taxes. Just like causing the cost of living to go through the roof with Cap and Trade and other non-sense is technically not raising taxes.

My medicare and socialism security goes up and I have less money but that is not rasing taxes.

The price of goods go up and I have to pay more for them and more for sales tax. Again he can say he didn't raise taxes

He could make my check shrink to almost half and not raise taxes.

I think a lot of it's race. Like I said, I don't remember Conservatives going after anybody this much. They block him on everything, and then say he doesn't do anything to help people. Seriously why even bother? I get knocked for posting op-ed pieces despite the forum supposedly being a place to share opinions. Not to mention a great deal of the lefties here simply dismiss a link that is from a source they deem is too conservative. They dont bother to even read them and rarely offer any substantive rebuttal. What you posted was a pretty interesting take on what is going on using facts and figures and stating the holes in what the govt is feeding us in a fairly clearcut manner. But the chances that one person offers a serious opinion on why they disagree without calling the source or writer biased or an idiot is nil.
