in a way, it's amusing that tennessee gets left like this-they're now bitching about loyalty, but they didn't worry so much about that when they ditched fulmer after a bad season, when he'd been loyal to them for years...and one year removed from playing for the sec championship. now their program is in a shambles, with having to hire their third coach in a fifteen month span, and national signing day just a few weeks off. but they are demanding loyalty? as you sow and all that.

comical.... basically comes into the SEC stirs up all kinds of sh!t with the program, other teams, coaches, conference, then runs away. Another reason why i HATE this silver spoon little bitch boy. Little to no sympathy for UT either, you got your california kid who got his daddy, who got recruits, now you aint got sh!t but a bunch of jailbirds he recruited for the program anyways.
USC, wow.... didn't waste no time bringing their golden child back home. Too bad this program is gonna be on probation for a while, and doubt Lane has a major impact on recruits for a while, probably wont be there long enough to make an impact. And you’re telling me, that after all those golden years NOW, NOW pete carroll accepts an offer from an NFL? After his worst season in how many years? Tell me he doesn’t know all that sh!t aint coming down like a house of cards, and I honestly couldn’t wish for a better person for them to fall on then Kiffin (other than josh mcdaniels of course)

who will succeed Kiffin or Carroll?
i don't think either will do well, but i think Carroll will get the ax before Kiffin will. IMO Carroll aint cut out for the NFL, he knows how to pay off kids and get them to go to USC, but i don't think his happy go lucky attitude is gonna win in the NFL. Kiffin, i hope USC doesn't have another winning season in his tenure, and if there was a line right now for USC vs UCLA i would crush the ML on Neuheisal's boys next year.

kiffin will do well at sc until the sh*t hits the fan. sc will have one of the best coaching staffs in the country (kiffin, orgeron and Maybe chow).
carroll's rah-rah style won't float in the nfl, it didn't before.

Good to see all these guys (Kiff, Ed, Norm) coming home

Hell, how can anyone blame Kiff for wanting to leave that second-rate program in Knoxville when Mike came calling???

By the way, didn't tide need a miracle from the college football gods to squeak by Kiff's squad in a j-v conference game last season?

Of course, it's never easy replacing a LEGEND like Pete … but rest assured, guys … the future is looking bright for the nation's top collegiate football program…

lol Booth! USC future looks as bright as another season with Reid and McNabb does.

Not only will you guys have sanctions and lose scholarships, but know you have a huge D-Bag as a coach! Very Deserving.

he'll do just fine at sc because of his asst. coaches. that's how he got by at ut. dad calls the defense, orgeron running the recruiting.
mike garrett is trying to get norm chow to come back But chow and young kiffin don't get along. my guess he'll keep the rest of the sc staff because he's worked with them. that will make the recruiting transition easier.

And that is the right man for the job. They would have taken him last year but he was too loyal to fulmer to take the job.
